Free MMORPG's

We've all had our interests peaked. As human beings there is no waking second that our minds aren't searching for the word 'Free' in front of anything, and as gamers, Free to Play can mean many things. Here are my thoughts on the world of 'free' MMORPGS.

There are many options out there when it comes to MMO's, but whether or not you are willing to pay for a game can be a question not controlled by just your gaming interests. Let's say you can't afford to fork over fifteen bucks a month just to log into an alternate reality and level up a fictional character. Why would you pay for any type of video game if you had the choice to play for free?

Free MMO's have been on the market for many years. making their livings off of micro-transactions and implementing end game content at a price. These games may seem as though they are on a level, lower to that of pay to play games, and unfortunately that is usually because they are. It only makes sense that if they offer the game for free, they aren't making as much income as games such as World of Warcraft, Rift or Aion. These games usually have lower quality content or just game play that wouldn't quite make it to store shelves, but if you get to play for free, well then who cares.

Personally, I believe that there is no risk in trying these games out. They may end up to be a complete and total bust ten minutes after logging in, or they could be a complete gold mine of content that will keep you preoccupied for several weeks or so.

Here are some of my favorite free to play MMORPGs out there today.
-Allods Online
-League of Legends
-Forsaken World
-Maple Story
